Doubt Not, Fear Not

¿Revelation Station!- Week 100

 

Hey everyone!! I hope you all had such a great week! Ours here in Snowflake was lovely! It is pretty awesome to think I've completed my mission! One week left and we are seeing so many miracles here in the area! 

This last week we had a really cool experience. 

We looked at our area book (which has the members and nonmembers who missionaries have talked to in the past on a map) and we wanted to have a lesson with some members. So we set up a lesson and went to their home. While we were there we talked and got to know them. Their grandson is living there because he has some challenges with his parents. Anyways, he isn't a member and after our lesson with him he said, I'd really like to be baptized. We were like, ummmm okay! It was so cool! We had no idea he lived there and it was neat to see God work such a cool miracle that night. 

I am so grateful I get to be a missionary in this world with so many problems and issues. God loves each of you and just wants you to be obedient!

Doubt Not, Fear Not

Doubt Not, Fear Not- Week 99

 

Hello everyone! This week was so cool! There were so many cool things that happened. I won't have time to share all of them because there are so many! 

Late last week we found a new person, she was moving from into town to outside of town. We talked about the gospel and then got to have a lesson after the service. We set up a return date for early this week and in that lesson we talked about 5 principles. Known as the gospel of Jesus Christ. (1. Faith 2. Repentance 3. Baptism 4. Gift of the Holy Ghost 5. Endure to the end)

She loved what we taught and we set up another meeting for Saturday of last week. We invited some members to come and we read a chapter from the Book of Mormon with her and re-emphasized the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was a cool lesson and we extended a baptism invitation to her! She said she'd have to pray about it so we are checking up tonight with her about it! 

Miracles help us to learn and grow. Don't be oblivious to the tender mercies (miracles) in your own life. Look for them. And I know you'll find something there. God is truly a God of miracles.

Miracles!- Week 98

 

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week! 

This week Elder Powell and I were able to do a service for a non-member. It was pretty sweet! A member referred her to us and said she needed help. So we set it up and went to help her! She was moving from one house to another house, but both houses were in our area! (Miracle #1) so as we were unpacking all of her stuff we started talking about the gospel and asked if we could share a message after we finished unpacking everything from the truck!

She said yes (Miracle 2) , so we just had some short talk as we finished up and then after we were finished she made us lunch! (Miracle 3). As we ate lunch we talked about the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and talked about the Book of Mormon. She accepted all of our invitations and wanted us to come back and visit in a couple of days! (Miracle 4) 

What a neat experience that was for me to have such a cool interaction with this woman who didn't know anything about the Church. 

I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and His Gospel. It changes lives. So let it change yours as well! I know Jesus Christ lives and he loves each one of you!
