Elder Ricks had transfers this week and didn't get to write home. Elder Asto went home so he could have surgery and Elder Ricks was given the assignment to train so we got some pictures from Sister Mann. Elder Easton Taylor arrived this week (Elder Ricks was hoping to train him, that didn't happen.) It is sure fun to see them in the pictures together!

"Cerro de promesas"- Week 35
Hey everyone! Well today I kinda waited till the last minute to write this email so I am really sorry about that! But this week was so awesome! We were able to find so many really awesome people to teach this next week! We were able to knock on doors a lot and had a lot of success. Something we have noticed here in this mission is that we usually have about 10 conversations with people before 1 person wants us to return. So we are trying to talk to a lot of people so we have some really good success.
Elder Asto and I were able to hike a hill that has a church on top of it this morning! So crazy! it is called the hill of promises. Because the church doesn't belong to any church, whoever wants to go up the hill and make promises with God can. It is a really cool idea actually. But we were able to take a person in teaching up there. Well.... he took us because he has lived here his whole life but it was really fun! My companion almost died because we were hiking up there so quickly but he survived.
I love serving a mission. The absolute best thing I have done in my entire life. Thank you all for your support and prayers. God loves every single one of you.

My mom said that brooms can stand up on their own!?!?! Who knew!
We just got done teaching Johnathan and his family! He wanted us to take a picture.
This is the church on top of that hill! Kinda cool right??

Choose The Right (CTR)- Week 34
Hey everyone!!! How are you all doing!?! Send me an email about a spiritual experience you were able to have this week! I want to hear from you all! I hope you all are doing really well.
Life here in Mexico is always interesting. I never really know what we are going to do each day. I mean, we have a plan and all but honestly it could change in seconds. haha! I love the suspense! We were able to teach several families this week and I am super excited for their progress! We are teaching this lady named Neri! She is seriously so awesome! We ate dinner with her one time and had breakfast one Saturday too! I love/hate eating food!
This week we were able to baptize Teresa. She talked with the sister missionaries before and just wasn't ready for the gospel, but 4 months later the elders came in and she was just like gold! She was so receptive and continues to be. She has several siblings living in the same house as her and she literally brings them to church when she comes! Such faithfulness to the Lord!
I love serving the people here in Mexico, they mean the world to me and I look forward everyday to get out of my bed (yes, at 6:30 every morning) just so I can talk with someone about the restoration of Jesus Christ.
I know that Christ has restored His Gospel through Joseph Smith so that we ALL can find more peace and happiness in this life. I love my Brother, Saviour, and Redeemer, Jesus Christ and know that it is only through Him that I can return and live with my Father in Heaven with my family.
Keep fighting the good fight!

Sweet Home Alabama- Week 33
Well everyone! Another week down! And another week full of miracles! You all are so amazing and I love writing this weekly email to you all! This week was crazy! We had our district council and I talked about the importance of leaving commitments with people. But that us as missionaries and members of the Church of Jesus Christ need to live these commitments before we can invite others so live them as well. So that was awesome! But on Thursday we got a call from President Mann and he told me that we were going to have special changes so my companion left and I am still here in Texcoco. My new companion is from Lima Peru! What a stud he is! Anyway, we were able to have so many wonderful lessons with people this week and I just love being here as a missionary because I get to be apart of so many lives here in Mexico. Jesus Christ lives, and he really does love you. He gave his life and rose again the 3rd day because of the love he had and has for every single one of you.
You all are always in my thoughts and prayers.
