Halloween! π- Week 71
This last week we week we were able to work with a ton of members. I love being with them! They just lite up your day! I am amazed every time I see them.
I was able to finish Doctrine and Covenants this last week and I just love the prophet Joseph Smith. He truly was an inspired man to help you and me become more like our Savior Jesus Christ.
You all are amazing and I am constantly thinking about you and your families!

Birthday π- Week 70
What a beautiful week. I love the goodness of God. He truly is there in everything. In the skies, at home, at church, in our car. There is no place where I can't see the hand of God in my life. I am ao grateful for the happiness I feel as I serve as a representative of Jesus Christ.
The Atonement of Jesus Christ and the Sacrament of the Bread and Water has changed my life. The fact my Father loves me so much that I can repent everyday and feel that remission of sins every week blows me away.
I know that Jesus lives, and he loves me. I know that His father, Heavenly Father created a plan to help me return and live with Him again.
I hope you all can do many things this next week to see the hand of God in your life.
Happy late birthday to Elder Calvoππ He's a stud!
Love,

58th and Thunderbird- Week 69
Hey everyone! What a blessed week I had. We have been able to visit so many families that are potentials to coming to this new spanish branch and we have had so much success!! I absolutely love serving here in the mission!
Something I have learned in my studies this last week is that God is always teaching me things. In every moment of every day I am being taught. Now the tricky part is if I will choose to learn from these lessons He gives me.
I would encourage you all to think about this for a second, Elder David A. Bednar said once, personal revelation is less of a specific event and more of a continuous process of communicating with God. Personal revelation doesn't normally come in big powerful moments. But in small moments that happen throughout your day.
I can testify that our Heavenly Father is constantly talking to you! So always be ready to listen.
Love,
Elder Ricks

President and Sister Cox- Week 68
Hello everyone! I hope your general conference was at least as half as good as mine was. I loved it! I'm so grateful for a prophet and for the apostles who give such perfect guidance and help in the perfect time.
This week we got some unfortunate news that our mission president President Cox will be going home early (this Friday) because of some health complications in his body. He doesn't have Covid-19 but he needs to go home and put more time and energy into getting healed. I've loved him and his wife as they've taught me over these last 5 months.
Life is amazing and I love serving my God in the capacity I am able to right now. Continue to pray for those we are teaching. It is much felt and appreciated. God is good and he is fulfilling his promises.
Love Elder Ricks
Here are a few pictures from this last week!
