LONG WEEKS- Week 97

 Well hello everyone!

What a LOOONG week it has been! Some weeks are much longer than others. For no reason. It just happens like that.

I have enjoyed learning more about Jesus Christ and how His Atonement works in me. I've been focusing my time on how old prophets and leaders of the church have always taught with power and authority.

What does that mean? Well it partly means they have the Spirit of God with them to testify of all the things they are teaching. How do they have this Spirit with them? The way they live, how they respond to the voice of God and a desire to help others.

I hope and pray you all are striving to be like the prophets and leaders of old. To always have the spirit with you.

I love you all!

2nd Covid Vaccine Shot- Week 95

Hello everyone! This week is transfer week, and Elder Powell and I will be staying together for my VERY last transfer as a full-time missionary

Pretty sad to think about it like that! But moving on! We have been working a lot with innactive members, so it has been cool to first of all work with them, but 2ndly it is cool to see them actually come back to church! God sure does work miracles!

We cleaned out our apartment this week. And we used 7 trash bags to get rid of all the junk we didn't need! Picture below!

Elder Powell and I have also been able to work with Facebook a little bit differently than most missionaries. The reason being that we get to create ads for the Facebook pages. These ads go to non-members so it is super important! I love what I do!

Missionary work means a lot of different things, all of you can be apart of it, even though we are all so drastically different in all that we do. Just figure out what works for you! And do it.

I love my Savior. He provided everything for me. And I will praise His name for forever. ❤

Easter Sunday- Week 94

Well hello everyone! This week was pretty awesome with general conference and all!

I enjoy listening to the words of the Savior through His servants the prophets! One thing from general conference I enjoyed was that there is a reason for all to continue learning and searching for the successes in their lives. It might be different for each person, but the key to receiving that success is the same for each person. Search, ponder, and pray. The more we study, the more we will understand, the more we pray the more receptive to the whisperings of the Holy Spirit we will be. Those are direct blessings given to us because of our desire to learn and understand more.

I have been very blessed to talk with my mission president this week. I've been able to look at his wonderful example and strive to achieve similar successes in my life. Maybe something you all could do is look at something someone does that's good, and try to learn how to be good at that thing too! Can you do that? We shall see 👀

God loves you, and will protect you. Keep His commandments and you will be blessed in everything that you do. Remember your true identity. A daughter or son of God. ❤

Keep on fighting the only fight that matters! The one for Jesus Christ.

The good... and hard life 😊- Week 93

Hello everyone! As I have contemplated what to share with you today I've thought about how difficult my week was. Not because we didn't have people to teach, but because we had felt like we've done everything we possibly could with the resources available to us. So we had a ciuple of days where we were just pulling our hair out trying to fill time during the day.

So the message I wanted to portray to you all is that in life, we have days where we don't have time to take a breather. Yet we have other days where we have nothing to do. The motivation I want to give you all is both of these difficulties are vitally important. Because they teach different things.

As I've continued to read the scriptures and ponder in my heart how I can best serve those around me, I've been able to recognize things in people I didn't see before because I was running around so fast with so many things to do!

Dedicate your lives to the Lord, but don't forget to look around and see the brother or sister right in front of you who might need an ear to hear.

I love you guys so much! Have a great week!
