¡Zone Conference!- Week 32

Hey family and friends!! It has been awhile since I could send the email out myself! But thanks to my dad I think most of you got my emails!

What a crazy week I had though! We started it out good though, with a few lessons! We were able to teach a couple families we found a few weeks back. There were like 3 of them! It is so cool to find people who are just ready to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. it was so cool finding them. They all had things going on this Sunday and couldn't go to church but we are working on it so they can go this week. They live in a town called Papalotla.

This town hated us at first. When we started contacting here everyone was like no. No. NO! But now it is yes. Yes. YES! We are starting to really see some huge miracles in this little town. I guess hard work does pay off! :)

Well Wednesday rolled around and we had to do divisions with our zone leaders for a baptism interview we had. But on Thursday we had zone conference, so we worked my area Wednesday, had the interview (She passed!!!!!) and went to the zone leaders house so that we didn't have to wake up so early for zone conference. The conference was amazing! It always just reminds me of how important the little things are. We came home and had a wonderful nights rest after a long day of travels. hehe

Saturday we had plans to go to the temple with some people in teaching butttttttt, I forgot to get permission. So we couldn't go and had to let the members take our people in teaching instead. We got home that night and my companion felt horrible, we talked with our mission president and everything and didn't get to go to church on Sunday... Bummer deal honestly. I love church! He is still in a lot of pain right now too so if you all could pray for him he would (I would too) really appreciate it. What a week right?!?! I hope you all had a wonderful week and just want you all to know how much God loves you. Fight the Good Fight

El Amor de Cristo- Week 31

Hey everyone! Sorry about last week! My companion had transfers and we live the furthest away from where we were going so basically we didn’t have time to do anything. Life here in Chiautla is awesome and really I can just see so many miracles throughout the week!

This week I have really been thinking about the love of Christ. It is a really interesting subject because our physical minds can’t comprehend how much love Jesus Christ really has for every single one of us individually.

Everything that Christ did for us was really the love he had to sacrifice everything so that we could have salvation in the life to come. His resurrection wasn’t just for the salvation of Him, it was for EVERYONE! I just want to share the love I have for this work. And for every single day we have to make a difference in the life of someone who we know.

A scripture says, by small and simple things are great things brought to pass. You can interpret that how you want, but in this moment I think about how the small things are reading the scriptures daily, praying often, and attending church weekly. For the great thing to come to pass, your personal salvation. ( Eternal Life )

Family and friends, don’t wait to be the light for the world. You were all prepared spiritually before this life to accomplish the many challenges during this life. I know that as you do these small things, you will all find happiness more frequently and will want to have it will you always.

You all are so amazing and a light to me individually. Thank you for your examples to serve others, and to obey the teachings of a Jesus Christ. I love you all so much and hope for your success and Spiritual Growth. Keep up the good work and fight the good fight.

Fight the Good Fight for Christ- Week 29

What a week I had! I really am so excited and so glad I get to be a missionary for 2 years. My time here in the mission field has gone by so quick and I just want to invite all of you to remember that if you want to change something in your life, today is the DAY! Because who knows if you will be willing to change tomorrow. So just do it now.

I love focusing my life on Jesus Christ. He really made it posible to understand everything we do in this life. We find purpose for the little things. And we enjoy serving others, not because we have to. But because we honestly feel good when we do it. Life is so short, and God needs you right now to step into the Gospel of Jesus Christ so he can use your hands to serve others. You can’t be 50% or even 90%. He asks us to be 100% so we can really receive ALL of the blessings He has prepared for us.

I love you all and really hope you had a fantastic New Year with lots of goals focused on Christ for the year. You all are an inspiration to me and I look up to every single one of you. Keep working hard. And fight the good fight.

Grateful For Another Day Of Life- Week 28

Hey you all :) What a week this week! We knocked on so many doors. I think we knocked on more doors than there are stars in the sky..... Haha! We were able to find a few people who were interested in the Restauración del evangelio de Jesucristo. Others liked el plan de salvación. And others who liked el evangelio de Jesucristo. No matter what they liked, it all connects back to Jesus Christ. He really is the light of the world.

Something that I just love about being on this mission for Jesus Christ is that I have started to realize that the scriptures, daily prayer,  Christlike attributes, family, all of these things mean so much more and are everything that we need to become perfect. The more I focus on Jesus Christ throughout my day the happier I am.

Money brings short term happiness, the clothes we wear, the car we drive, the amount of friends we have on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat. It all brings short term happiness. But what brings happiness for today, tomorrow, and forever? Jesus Christ.

Lehi realized that true happiness was only possible through Jesus Christ.

In first Nephi Of the Book of Mormon Lehi had a vision, and said, “And as I partook of the fruit thereof it filled my soul with exceedingly great joy; wherefore, I began to be desirous that my family should partake of it also; for I knew that it was desirable above all other fruit.”

This fruit that Lehi described is the restauración del Evangelio de Jesucristo, el plan de salvación, and el evangelio de Jesucristo.

I know with all of my heart this fruit is more desirable above all other fruits. As we continually partake of this fruit we will be in a state of happiness for forever. I know that Jesus Christ lives. He is my Savior and he does direct the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I hope you all have a fantastic week and New Year!
