Taco Salad 🥗- Week 92

Good morning everyone reading this in the morning! And for the rest of you, good afternoon, good evening, and good night respectively 👍

What a crazy week! We had zone conference this week on Thursday! It was in our normal church building this time so we didn't have to drive far at all! The luxuries of living in Snowflake Arizona, where every other corner is a church building 😇 haha!

There is a word I liked my mission president had said, convince. It means "to convict of wrongdoing or prove guilty, or to persuade in argument". As missionaries we should be convincing people as to convict them of their wrongdoings and prove them guilty in what they aren't doing correctly. I have always just associated the work convince with the second definition, "to persuade in argument". I guess I've got to work in convincing people better 😆

I went on exchanges with a couple of Elders this week and I am so grateful for the ability to still be a missionary at this time. Serving the Lord and bringing myself unto Him has been life changing. No one has changed as much as I have.

I am so grateful for the scriptures. Acts 4:12 (in the bible) says, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. I am so grateful for the knowlege I have of my Savior.

You guys are amazing!!
I made taco salad this week! It was sooo good! Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts! I love you!

Boring 😴- Week 90

For awhile there I was sending out some really good emails. Then they got boring... Maybe it has been a lack of enthusiasm on my part? Or maybe I can't think on the spot like I used to??

This week was pretty awesome! We were able to hear from my brother Tyson! He gave a training to us on how his mission used Facebook to fins people. Really cool to see my brother present some awesome ideas to my mission.

We found someone new this week! He started to read the Book of Mormon and is praying! We have lessons with him over facebook messenger everyday for a few minutes! A really unique and cool way to teach the gospel.

Missionary life can get a little hard or confusing. Sometimes you work so hard you forget why you're even here! Or maybe you forget to work hard in the things that are the most important. "Work smarter, not harder" not sure where that quote comes from but I think as we focus ourselves on the BEST things and not just the GOOD things. We will start working smarter, we will get more done, and we will feel like we are being blessed by God.

I am grateful for the safety of my friends and family back at home and around the world! You guys have been a blessing in my life. Keep the faith!

Oh yeah! And we have been putting our beds up differently every other day or so! Kinda fun! The first night it was a tower of 4 beds, then we made a pyramid looking thing! I wonder what the next one will be!?! 🤷‍♂️

Crashed Car!?!- Week 89

Hello everyone! Missionary work here in Snowflake continues to increase! We found a family this week and we are super excited to continue to teach them.

Here is a spiritual thought for the week!

3rd Nephi 11: 44
44 But behold I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you and persecute you.

You guys are loved and I am grateful for your prayers on my behalf! Keep up the good work.

I bought some card games! What a collection I've gotten!
Oh and an elder crashed his car...  I fixed it, so we are all good 😅

Facebook Vibes!

Twice Baked Potatoes- Week 88

Good afternoon everyone! I love you and am so grateful for your thoughts and prayers! I feel them everyday.

This week we were working with a lot of inactive members, and although we didn't get to have any of them come to church, 2 people we are teaching came to church and we plan on putting them on date really soon!!

We have seen the hand of the Lord in almost everything we have been doing. It is cool to read the scriptures and see how the Lord blessed those people, and similarly I am being blessed in ways that blow me away. It has taught me truly how much my Father in Heaven loves to bless His children!

Keep on keeping on everyone❤
