Good morning everyone reading this in the morning! And for the rest of you, good afternoon, good evening, and good night respectively 👍
What a crazy week! We had zone conference this week on Thursday! It was in our normal church building this time so we didn't have to drive far at all! The luxuries of living in Snowflake Arizona, where every other corner is a church building 😇 haha!
There is a word I liked my mission president had said, convince. It means "to convict of wrongdoing or prove guilty, or to persuade in argument". As missionaries we should be convincing people as to convict them of their wrongdoings and prove them guilty in what they aren't doing correctly. I have always just associated the work convince with the second definition, "to persuade in argument". I guess I've got to work in convincing people better 😆
I went on exchanges with a couple of Elders this week and I am so grateful for the ability to still be a missionary at this time. Serving the Lord and bringing myself unto Him has been life changing. No one has changed as much as I have.
I am so grateful for the scriptures. Acts 4:12 (in the bible) says, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. I am so grateful for the knowlege I have of my Savior.
You guys are amazing!!
I made taco salad this week! It was sooo good! Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts! I love you!
Love,
Elder Ricks
